Page content, size and existing rotation are preserved. Bookmarks, form field data, annotations and attachments are not carried across, and encrypted PDFs must be unlocked first. Rotation adds to whatever angle a page already had.
How to use
- Drop in a PDF. Every page is listed with its original number.
- Untick pages to remove them. Or use Deselect all and pick only the ones you want to extract.
- Reorder with the arrows. The position column shows where each page will end up.
- Rotate individual pages. Useful when only some pages were scanned sideways.
- Save. A new PDF is built with your changes; the original is untouched.
Questions
Can I extract just a few pages?
Yes — press Deselect all, tick the pages you want, then save. Only those pages are written, in the order shown.
Is the original file changed?
Never. The tool reads your file and writes a new one; what is on your disk is untouched until you choose to replace it yourself.
What is not carried across?
Page content, size and existing rotation are preserved. Bookmarks, form field data, annotations and attachments are not, because they reference pages by structures that do not survive being copied between documents.
Why will my PDF not open?
Encrypted or password-protected PDFs must be unlocked before any browser tool can read them. Damaged files may also fail — the tool says so rather than producing a broken result.
