Draw a signature online — transparent PNG download

Draw your signature with a mouse, finger or stylus and download it as a transparent PNG, trimmed to the ink and ready to drop into any document.

Runs entirely in your browser — nothing is uploaded.

Draw your signature
2.5

All processing happens in your browser. Your file is never uploaded.

The signature is drawn and exported entirely on your device as a transparent PNG, trimmed to the ink — ready to drop into documents, email footers or the sign-PDF tool here. A drawn signature image is fine for everyday paperwork; it is not a certificate-based digital signature of the kind some jurisdictions require for specific contracts.

How to use

  1. Draw on the pad. The guide line helps keep the baseline straight. Undo removes the last stroke.
  2. Pick pen colour and width. Black and blue are the conventional choices.
  3. Download the PNG. Transparent background, cropped to the signature itself.

Questions

Where does my signature go?

Nowhere. It is drawn, trimmed and exported entirely inside your browser — a signature is exactly the kind of thing that should not be uploaded to a stranger’s server, which is the point of doing it this way.

Why a transparent background?

So the signature sits on any document without a white box around it. Word, Google Docs, email signatures and PDF tools all respect PNG transparency. The image is also trimmed to the ink, so it aligns predictably.

Is a drawn signature legally valid?

For everyday purposes — internal approvals, invoices, letters — an image of your signature is routinely accepted. Some contexts require certificate-based digital signatures with identity verification (a different technology), and some documents require wet ink by law. This tool makes the image; whether an image suffices depends on the document.

Mouse signatures look shaky — any advice?

Draw large — the pad rewards big strokes, and the export scales down, which smooths wobble. A phone or tablet with a finger or stylus gives a much more natural line: open this page there, draw, and the PNG downloads the same way.
