JPEG and PNG images are embedded directly; other supported formats are converted to PNG first. Large photos can make a large PDF. “Fit each page to its image” uses pixels as PDF points, not the photo’s original print size. Choose A4 or Letter for printing.
How to use
- Add one or more images. JPEG and PNG work directly. Other formats depend on what your browser can decode.
- Check the order. Use the earlier and later arrows beside each filename to set the page order.
- Choose Page size. Pick A4, US Letter or A5 for a consistent paper size. Landscape and Add margin are available for these sizes.
- Create PDF. Save images.pdf, then open it to check page order, orientation and legibility.

Why is the PDF so large?
There is no image-compression control here. JPEG and PNG inputs are embedded without a lossy quality pass; other readable formats are converted to PNG first. Resize or compress large photos beforehand if you need a smaller PDF.
Which page size should I choose?
Use A4 or US Letter when someone will print the result. Fit each page to its image avoids added margins, but maps pixels to PDF points rather than preserving a photo’s print-resolution setting; a large image can become a very large physical page.
Will scanned words become searchable?
No. The pages contain images, not recognised text. You need OCR if you want to search or copy the words in a scan.
Can I add phone HEIC photos?
Only if your browser can decode them here. If one fails, convert it to JPG with the HEIC tool first. This page does not use that tool’s separate decoder.
