Questions
Are the images compressed?
No. They are embedded at their original resolution, so a PDF of large photos will be large. Compress them first if size matters.
Which page size should I choose?
Fit-to-image gives each page exactly the pixel dimensions of its photo — ideal for screenshots and anything staying on screen. Choose A4 or Letter for printing, where consistent page sizes matter.
What formats can I use?
JPEG and PNG embed directly. WebP, HEIC, AVIF and GIF are converted to PNG first, which works but produces a larger file.
Is there a limit on how many images?
Only your device memory — everything is held in RAM. Dozens of photos are fine on a laptop; a hundred large ones on an older phone may not be.
