- Check Age at date. It starts with today’s UTC date. Change it to calculate an age at a past event or a future date.
- Read the breakdown. For a birth date of 15 June 2000 and an age-at date of 2 October 2026, the result is 26 years, 3 months and 17 days.
Questions
What happens with a 29 February birthday?
The calculator uses 28 February as the anniversary in a non-leap year. This is its date-arithmetic convention, not a ruling on legal age or eligibility; an official process may use a different rule.
How are partial months counted?
It counts complete months, then the remaining days. If the original day does not exist in the target month, the month ends on its last day. For example, 31 January to 28 February 2026 is one month and zero days here.
Are the hours a precise time since birth?
No. There is no birth-time input. Dates are treated as midnight UTC and total hours are total days multiplied by 24. The next-birthday countdown also starts from the selected age-at date, not necessarily today.
