How to use

  1. Choose images. Open a picture. Crop shows the original with a movable selection.
  2. Frame the subject. Drag a corner to resize and drag inside to move. Use a shape preset for a starting point, or enter Left, Top, Width and Height.
  3. Check the result. Switch to Convert to see the output. Cropping happens before rotation and resizing. Undo reverses an edit; Whole image restores the full crop area.
  4. Download. Choose Save as and check the final dimensions. Save the picture, or prepare a ZIP after reviewing the crop on every image.

Questions

Does a shape preset lock the crop?

No. It starts a centred selection in that shape, but the corners remain freely adjustable. Choose the preset again if you want to restore its ratio after dragging.

Can I crop without dragging?

Yes. Enter Left, Top, Width and Height as percentages. You can also focus the selection and use arrow keys to move it. On a touch screen, drag inside the box to move it or use a corner to resize.

What should I check before saving a batch?

The same crop percentages apply to every image, along with the current rotation, resize and format settings. Check each subject, especially when portrait and landscape photos are mixed. A centred crop that suits one face may cut off another.

Does cropping change quality?

The result is re-encoded from the loaded source, not repeatedly from each preview. JPG can lose detail; PNG avoids lossy compression of the rendered pixels. Output is still a flattened, 8-bit image without the source’s animation, layers or profiles.

Is my picture sent away for editing?

No. Editing happens on this device. Loading the image processor and the rest of the website still uses network requests, so local editing does not promise a network-free page.
